Napier is the great grandson of veteran English actor Alan Napier, most notable as Alfred on the popular 1960's television series, Batman. This is referenced in the premiere episode of Power Rangers: Dino Thunder, when Conner and Ethan visit Dr. Oliver's house. Conner accidentally pulls the dinosaur statue that opens the entrance to Tommy's secret lab; and states "the guy's a teacher, not...Batman..." His uncle is actor Brian Forster, best known for his role as Chris Partridge on the 1970s TV Series The Partridge Family. Napier is also a descendant of Charles Dickens.
The short film is: When a victim of a rape (Jinny Lee Story) manages to track her assailant down, her revenge seems to be swift and deadly. As events unfold all is not what it seems and deception comes at a very high price.
Napier played in L.A. rock band The Pistol Whips, contributing with guitar and vocals.[1]
James wrote and directed I'm Not Harry Jenson, with long time friends Tom Hern and Edward Sampson both taking roles as producers on the film. The film was accepted into the 2009 New Zealand International Film Festival [2] and received post-production funding from the New Zealand Film Commission.[3] I'm Not Harry Jenson was nominated for Best Picture at the 2009 AFTA Awards (New Zealand Film and TV Awards)[4], and was picked up by Rialto Distribution for a New Zealand-wide theatrical release January–March 2010 to strong reviews.[5]
